A little About Jedan's Background: The Headshot That Started An Obsession


I was a performer before I really got deep into photography, I completed a certificate IV in performing arts; I needed a good Headshot...





IT WAS NOT AN ‘IF’ OR A ‘BUT’... IT IS A NECESSITY AS A PERFORMING ARTIST. With the skills I had in photography I set out to take the best headshots I could, not an easy task. I learnt quickly there is a specialised skill behind this ‘Art of the headshot’ so I worked at it, combining different retouching techniques as I go, long nights of research and practice, so much so I almost forgot what I was working on it for. I mastered the main types of the headshot for performing artists, including retouching, Natural Retouching, Detailed Retouching and High-End Pro Retouching (more prominent in beauty shots for the modelling industry)
